On June 5th, while visiting with family in Virginia, I visited the Natural Bridge State Park.
Dedicated on September 24th, 1916, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark in 1988, its beautiful forests and meadows bring into view the area’s karst terrain and vistas of surrounding mountains. The 215-foot tall Natural Bridge is spectacular because it is a limestone gorge carved out by Cedar Creek.
