On May 18th, Rhoda and I lunched in the Joshua Tree National Park, our last California stop, before heading to Arizona to make our scheduled tour of the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix the next day.

The Desert Botanical Garden
Listed as one of the top twenty gardens in America, the Desert Botanical Garden has four trails with distinctive offerings. May 19th my entry ticket was for 9:30 am. I’m so happy that I was able to get this early entry. If not, I’m not sure I would have been able to visit the Steel Herb Garden and the Sybil B. Harrington Succulent Garden that morning because by 11:30 am, the temperature had reached 90 degrees.
