The 40-minute drive from Poughkeepsie to Peekskill on June 11th was beautiful, with winding roads passing through charming towns and villages, towering views of the Catskill Mountains, and the sun gleaming off the Hudson River. I stopped and enjoyed lunch at n Peekskill, New York, a cute little city park on the Hudson offering stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. Rhoda and I hung around the park for the better part of the day.
